31 Journal Prompts for Self Discovery
Over the last few years, I have been working really hard to re-discover myself. I have been a mom, or acting as a mom for my sisters, for more than half my life and I realized I didn’t know who I was outside of that identity. I knew that journaling for self-discovery would really help me discover who I am, what I believe, what I like to do, and what I want to accomplish, but I didn’t know where to start.

At the beginning of my journey to learn about myself, I tried free journaling. Creating things from nowhere is not one of my strengths, so this style did not work for me. What did work for me was using journal prompts! It allowed me to focus on answering the one question in front of me without filtering my thoughts.
I hope you can use these journal prompts to help learn a little bit more about who you truly are!

Great list to get your writing flowing. I also like: If you could be anyone else in the world who would you be and why? or If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be and with whom?

I love this post! I’ve bookmarked it. I think your questions rival the 36 Qs to make someone fall in love with you or whatever. If I had a museum or gallery, it’d be full of photos of people who didn’t want to have their picture taken. People would be required to smoke ganja before going in, haha!
